Studio aan het water, Aqua13, ligt op een rustige plek aan het Reitdiep in Groningen, vlakbij het centrum van de stad. Het station en het Groninger museum liggen op loopafstand. De ringweg rond Groningen is makkelijk te bereiken. Supermarkten, winkels en (afhaal) restaurants zijn dichtbij te vinden.

De Studio is een perfecte uitvalsbasis voor een bezoek aan Groningen en de Ommelanden van die stad, maar is ook geschikt voor een langer (zakelijk) verblijf. Veel wandelaars van het Pieterpad gebruiken de studio als tussenstop.

De studio is de benedenverdieping van onze woning aan de Rubensstraat, welke met een tuin aan het water van het Reitdiep ligt.

U hebt direct toegang tot de studio vanuit de gemeenschappelijke hal via een eigen voordeur. De tuin met steiger en zwemtrap nodigt uit tot gebruik. Ontbijten en wat drinken kan buiten op het deels overdekte terras.

De studio is ongeveer 45m2 groot, heeft een slaapgedeelte met een tweepersoons bed en een zit- en kleed gedeelte en beschikt over een eigen sauna, badkamer en apart toilet. De auto kunt u zonder kosten parkeren in de garagebox gelegen op 3 minuten loopafstand van de Studio. U kunt kosteloos twee fietsen gebruiken om de stad in te fietsen of toertochten te maken in de omgeving.

De pantry in de studio is uitgerust met een koelkast, magnetron, waterkoker, eierkoker en een Nespresso apparaat en natuurlijk bestek, glazen, borden, etc

Een grootbeeld kabel tv en WIFI zijn aanwezig. Via WiFi kan men Netflix, You Tube en NLZIET bekijken.

Groningen is een prachtige stad om te bezoeken, maar ook de omgeving van de stad is de moeite waard. In talloze buitenlandse media wordt De Stad genoemd als een hidden gem. Steeds meer bezoekers uit binnen en buitenland weten Groningen te vinden en komen terug om van de relaxte sfeer in de stad te genieten.

De Onlanden is een uniek natuurgebied en het Hoornsemeer is zeker in de zomer een plek om te bezoeken. Beide gebieden zijn vanuit de Studio makkelijk per fiets te bereiken.

Vergeet overigens niet een dagtocht naar Schiermonnikoog te maken of naar het Duitse eiland Borkum. Informatie over dagtochten en de Groninger kust ligt in de Studio. Peter, uw gastheer vertelt u graag over de de stad of over de Provincie Groningen en kan u behulpzaam zijn met het boeken of reserveren van diverse activiteiten. Wilt u een tochtje maken door de grachten van Groningen (In Groningen heten die grachten ‘Diepen’) dan vaart uw gastheer u in de zomer bij goed weer, graag rond.

Van Airbnb heeft de studio al geruime tijd de hoogste rating gekregen en Peter uw gastheer is superhost van deze organisatie.

De huurprijs van de studio kan per seizoen verschillen en is vanaf €70 per dag , inclusief toeristenbelasting.

Maximaal verblijf is twee weken en minimaal verblijf is twee dagen. 

Wellicht belangrijk om te weten: de studio is rookvrij en de studio is niet geschikt voor kinderen beneden de twaalf jaar en voor huisdieren.

Welcome in Aqua13

Studio for rent

A waterfront retreat, Studio Aqua13 is located at the canal ‘ the  Reitdiep ‘ in Groningen. A quite spot close to the city-center and the Groninger museum. The ringway around the city is easy to find. Supermarkets, shops and restaurants are close by the Studio.

Aqua13 is a perfect start for your visit to the city of Groningen and it’s surroundings, but it also fits for a longstay.

The studio can be found on the ground floor of our house in the Rubensstraat. The garden of the house is bordered by the waters of the Reitdiep. Entering the hall of the house you have your own front door. The garden with its jetty and bathing ladder invites you to use them.

Breakfast and drinks can be used on the terrace that is partly covered.

The studio is about 45m2 and has a sleeping area with a double bed, a living area and dressing area. You have your own Sauna, a separated bathroom and toilet.

Parking free of charge is possible in our garagebox located in 3 minutes walking distance from the studio. Two bikes are available, also free of charge.

The pantry is provided with a fridge, microwave, water cooker and  egg cooker, a Nespresso coffee machine and of course plates, glasses, cutlery etc.

A flatscreen TV and WiFi are available. You can watch Netflix and You Tube.

Groningen is a special city to visit, but also its surroundings ‘De Omlanden’  are worth  to explore. In all kind of media Groningen is described as a hidden gem. Maybe because of the relaxed atmosphere in the city or because of the beauty of the Omlanden.

In summertime the Hoornsemeer is a special place to enjoy the sun and the wetlands of the Onlanden are an unique place to spot all kind of birds. Both places are easy to visit with our bikes.

But don’t forget to take the boat for a daytrip to the island of Schiermonnikoog or the German island Borkum. Information about these trips can be found in the studio, but also Peter, your host can advise you or help you with your planning. 

And what about a tour through the canals of Groningen- in Groningen called ‘ de Diepen’. Peter is willing to take you around in the summer when the wetter is nice.

This studio got the highest rating from Airbnb and Peter is Airbnb’s super host.
The rent is from €70 a day depending on the saison. Local tourist taxes are included. Minimum rent period is 2 days and maximum rent period is normally 14 days.

Good to know : the studio is a smoke free accommodation and not suitable for children under the age of 12. Pets are not allowed.

Welkom in Aqua13, de studio aan het water.  Wij wensen u een prettig verblijf.

       Hieronder enkele tips en onze huisregels;                                                                 

  • Kijk voor belangrijke telefoonnummers in de aparte brochure over de stad Groningen; de stadsgids
  • In de studio ligt een korte handleiding voor het gebruik van de verwarming, het ventilatiesysteem, de sauna, de tv en voor de vloerverwarming in de badkamer.
  • Peter ( uw gastheer en contactpersoon) is voor vragen of advies te bereiken via telefoonnr. +31(0)654708497 (bellen of appen) en per mail: aqua13groningen@hotmail.com
  • Peter helpt u graag bij bijvoorbeeld het reserveren van een restaurant of theater of bij het boeken van starttijden op een golfbaan in de omgeving.

     In deze studio gelden enkele huisregels, mede opgesteld door onze verzekeringsmaatschappij.

  • Wij hebben een goede verstandhouding met al onze buren en willen dat graag ook zo houden.  Zorg voor geen lawaai en overlast.
  • Huisdieren zijn NIET toegestaan.
  • open vuur is verboden. Dit geldt ook voor kaarsen etc,
  • Roken is verboden
  • De studio is geschikt voor 2 personen
  • Uw gasten zijn, zonder voorafgaande toestemming niet toegestaan
  • de studio is niet geschikt voor kinderen onder de 12 jaar
  • Kunt u niet zwemmen, dan wordt geadviseerd uit de buurt van het water te blijven      
  • Het gebruik van drugs is verboden.
  • u verblijft op eigen risico in de studio. In voorkomende gevallen is een schade uitkering beperkt tot het bedrag dat de verzekeringsmaatschappij wenst uit te keren
  • Uitcheck tijd: 11.00

A warm Welcome to Groningen and we wish you a pleasant stay in our studio near the water, Aqua13 .

A list with important telephone numbers, of which we hope, you never have to use, you will find in the “stadsgids Groningen” along with information about all kind of organisations in this city

We also displayed some brochures regarding the sights of Groningen with Musea, cinema, shopping etc. All on walking distance

In order to make your stay comfortable for all of us we have made the following house-rules. Some imposed by the Insurance company. 

  • Sorry, no pets allowed
  • Open fire is not allowed inside. This includes candles etc.
  • Aqua13 studio is a NON-SMOKING studio.
  • The maximum number of guests is 2.
  • No children under the age of 12
  • If you cannot swim, please stay in safe distance from the water. This is AYOR!
  • We have a very good relation with all our neighbours and we want to keep it that way. So please consider your smoking outside, and low level of noise while staying with us.
  • Using of drugs is forbidden
  • Check out time: 11.00

Your stay at Aqua13 is at your own risk. In common cases the damage payment is limited to the amount the Insurance company is willing to pay.
